When news of the HDB mega launch coming up in November came out, we actually sat down to seriously read through the HDB website and… discuss!
Thanks government of Singapore, way to get your citizens going.
It’s just that we’ve always had conversations about getting married, settling down, deciding where to live (which is a constant battle between the lepak vibes of the East -him- and the industrious bustling of the West -me!-). But it has always been a passing remark or said in jest.
2015 is almost up and believe me, at the start of the year, I never thought I would be making a whole lot of decisions before year’s end. At the start of 2015, I was wondering when the hell I could finally quit my job, how in the world I was going to find another job, amagad my savings are depleting. And yet, here we are today.
I swear writing is getting so much harder since I became an editor a few months ago. Reading is getting so, so painful as well. I now feel like printing everything out and making red marks on it.
But I do have so many thoughts floating around in my mind as I am trying to… plan things? I guess it’s the events manager in me, thanks to my previous job. Sigh, if only I could say planning for the next few steps in life were as painless as planning the events I did for work, because damn, those events were PAINFUL.
Kita try je la okays.
Bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alAllahi.
